Now, more than ever, there is an urgent demand for creativity skills, methods, and tools that empower us to adapt, respond, and flourish in the face of rapid changes and uncertainties of our time. This online course breaks free from convention, drawing learners into the world of radical creatives, where they are empowered to unlock their creative potential through personalized learning journeys.
Spanning five chapters – introduction, individual, process, collective, and impact – this introductory course goes beyond theoretical and scientific findings of creativity research. It features multiple case studies illustrating powerful instances of radical creativity, guiding learners to address fundamental questions:

- How can creativity address challenges?
- How is creativity promoted in cooperation?
- How does radical creativity shape the world?
The course is open to everyone, through real-life activities and assignments, it offers an opportunity to cultivate confidence in idea generation, experimentation, and learning from diverse experiences. Designed for all seeking to bolster their creativity, “Diving into Radical Creativity” gives an immersive, practical exploration of radical creativity across multidisciplinary contexts.

How to complete the course
This course consists of five chapters and each chapter has multiple sub-chapters. In the course of each sub-chapter, there is either a quiz or a reflection assignment so that you can reflect on what you have learned.
Build your own learning path
Mix your own learning path right from the start or make it as you go – the order and structure is up to you.
Complete 15 sub-chapters for 3 credits
Finish a minimum of 5 chapter introductions and 15 sub-chapters to complete the course and earn 3 credits.
Finish required activities
Take diverse activities after each chapter, blending real life activities with reflections and quizzes.
Get an official course certificate
After successfully completing the course you can download an official Aalto University course Certificate with a unique verification code from the ‘My Course’ page.
